The origin - and alternate reality - of the gallant crew of the GSS Basura

Hi everyone. Hope you're enjoying a great Labor Day weekend!

Speaking of working: If you've read one of my lighter tales in Anticipation called "The Incredible Shriking Universe," you already know that the crew of the GSS Basura is very diligent! These characters have been with me for many years, and actually began life (in another universe perhaps?), not as galactic garbagemen, but as cosmic cops!

In that reality, this mixed-up crew began life in a comic strip submission I prepared called Pulsar's Precinct. I thought you might enjoy a look at a few of the cartoons, and putting a few faces to the characters you met in "Shrinking Universe," most notably: Captain Dirk Pulsar, Dr. Phillip Bedpan and Morfo, the lovable shape-shifter! Look for more comics here in future blog postings!

Hmm. Think I need to write a sequel and post more of this crew's adventures online! What do y'all think?
